Sixth Years Helping out in the Portland Community
Portland Backpack - Luke
Many children suffer from food insecurity. Luckily, an organization called Portland Backpack helps many of these children by providing meals on the weekends. This is done through the children's schools, but the whole project is volunteer-funded. One of the ways we can help the organization is to drop off pre-packaged sack meals for the kids. These will be delivered to Portland Backpack. In addition, for every sack meal you bring in, you gain an entry ticket to a prize draw for one large Pizza Kat Pizza + 1 PK ice cream of the winner’s choice. The window for bringing in your sack meals is June 1 -3. Please note that there will be two drop boxes: One located at Savior and 15th, inside the entrance to Larch, and one inside the entrance of the school.
